Do you love reading tales from long ago? Then join the historical fiction book club! The book for July will be Finding Dorothy by Elizabeth Letts. This story follows Maud Gage Baum, widow of L. Frank Baum back and forth from the early years of her marriage where she and Frank met Dorothy – the inspiration for The Wizard of Oz, to Hollywood during the filming of the beloved movie. Readers will go back and forth in time following Maud as she promises to protect Dorothy in Aberdeen to taking on the job of protecting Judy Garland in Hollywood. Registration Required.
