Baba Shibambo will introduce the music of traditional African instruments including djembes, dun duns, handmade wooden marimbas, shakers, bushman bow, kalimbas and others. He will include storytelling and an interactive song and dance component. Be sure to register for an interactive workshop later in the week and participate in the finale concert on Sunday, June 11. Bring the family and come enjoy the show! This concert is funded by a City of Glendale Performing Arts Grant.All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and/or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
